How do I book a session?

  1. Contact me
  2. We will choose a date
  3. You’ll pay a deposit securely online
  4. You’ll sign my contract
  5. We’ll get to know each other and talk details with a pre-session consultation.
  6. We’ll make some magic together!

What days do you shoot?

Mostly Saturdays. Occasionally weekday mornings or evenings. Never Sundays.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

If you need to reschedule because your child is sick or you just cut bangs and now totally regret it, then yes, let’s reschedule. Please give me as much advance notice as possible so that I can fit another client in if possible. You may reschedule one time without a fee.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

I will reschedule on the morning of the session of the weather is severe. I will usually wait until 2 hours prior to the session to reschedule if the weather is “iffy.” If the weather turns bad during the session, I will reschedule for the remainder of the time. During the busy season (October-December) I may not be able to accommodate a rescheduled session prior to the new year.

WHEN WILL THE GALLERY BE READY?

About 3 weeks, depending on my current workload. It may only take a couple of hours to take the pictures, but it takes me days to select the best of the best and polish them up to my high standards. Also, because I often shoot with film, I have to factor in the lab processing time. Each film image is scanned and edited by hand to achieve my signature look.

CAN I POST MY IMAGES TO SOCIAL MEDIA?

Why yes, please! Just do me a favor, okay? Tag me with image credit and don’t apply filters to it.

Will you post my images to your social media or on your site?

Yes, as part of my contract you agree to allow the images to be used to market my photography business.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

Absolutely, how lovely of you to ask! Gift certificates are available for the amount you want to spend, whether for the session fee itself or prints after the shoot. I will provide you a pretty paper product to present to your loved one.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash, check, credit card, PayPal, or Venmo. Sales tax will be applied for all product purchases.

DO YOU OFFER “MINI” SESSIONS?

Yes, but just once in the fall. Follow my blog and Instagram (@jenjphotography) to learn of current promotions.

Do you retouch the images?

Yes, at my discretion. If you’re looking for further skin clearing or wrinkly-reducing, I’ll make your dreams come true for $5/image.

Do you shoot weddings or events?

Yes. Please contact me directly with your event date and details to get a custom quote.

Do you shoot commercial projects?

Yes. I have shot for Royal Velvet and Parasol and would love to discuss shooting for your business!
